Crimson Mold

Crimson mold is a blood-red lichen that sits beneath the bark of trees on Todstein. If an infected tree is disturbed, mold spores erupt in a 10 ft. radius around the trunk. Touch or inhalation of the spores erodes the skeleton.[1]
