The prononcer are a combination judge and chief law enforcement officer of communities in Dementlieu. Every prononcer is appointed by Dominic D'Honaire. In theory, they are relatively free in assigning punishments to criminals, but in practice, they are embroiled in local politics that often dictates their judgements.[1]
