The good folks at Ravensburger have teased an upcoming Ravenloft expansion for their D&D themed board game, Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons.
I hadn't heard of Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons prior to this, but the game looks very similar to Pandemic and other cooperative-type games where the players have to work together to beat (or survive) the game.

Anyone knows more about the product? Skibird? Perhaps you now know more?

I have never played the game before. Just stumbled across an article saying that it existed.

Re: Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons
I've played the original Horrified, which I barely remember, but I think it was a decent, if fairly standard co-op game. You're forced to do something "evil" that hurts everyone, and then you take your turn doing something "good" of your choice to help. Everyone wins or everyone loses if the the game beats them. In the original, you're fighting off classic Universal monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, the Mummy, etc.). It appears the D&D version uses fantasy D&D bad guys instead (Dragon, Beholder, etc.) and this upcoming Ravenloft expansion adds actual Ravenloft scenarios.

Re: Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons
So I played this at GenCon and got to bring it home. It's pretty much just Horrified with Curse of Strahd trappings. Which isn't to say it's bad, just to describe it. It's quite fun. as I said over here, it's "Curse of Strahd: the Co-operative Boardgame" (lighter than the "Castle Ravenloft" game, less D&D-ish than that one. More like Pandemic and the like)
If you like co-op boardgames, you'll like this. I don't know how replayable it is. There are 4 "big bads" and you play with 2 of them each game. That changes it up a bit, but I imagine once you go through all 4 in some combinations, it might get old.
