Alice in Wonderland revisited.

I had time to spend this morning and I tested Chat GPT. I asked it to rewrite Alice in Wonderlands for Ravenloft. Not bad

Alice in the Domain of Shadows
Alice should never have followed that rabbit with scarlet eyes.
It was an evening where the mist clung to the streets of Paridon like a damp shroud. The young girl, curious and carefree, saw a strange silhouette slipping through the shadows, a creature with perked ears, dressed in a tattered frock coat, holding a pocket watch with frozen hands. Driven by an inexplicable fascination, she rushed after it into a forgotten underground passage.
The fall was endless. When she landed, the ground was not stone but cold, pulsating flesh. She struggled to her feet and discovered a world where logic was broken, where natural laws were a fleeting whim. Trees with twisted branches whispered warnings, and the shadows themselves seemed to hunger insatiably.
A smile floated in the darkness before a face formed around it. An oversized mouth, unnaturally white teeth, and finally two glowing eyes. "Welcome, stranger," murmured the Twilight Cat. It stretched, its limbs warping like melting wax. "Here, madness is the only wisdom."
Next, she encountered the Bloodied Hatter, a man clad in a patched coat, his fingers stained with ink and dried blood. He invited her to a "non-death party" where the guests—puppets of bone and porcelain—muttered forgotten prayers while dipping moldy cakes into black wine.
Alice sought a way back to reality, but every path led her deeper into horror. She met the Red Queen, a cadaverous woman with a mad gaze, ruling with an iron fist over her kingdom of flesh. "Off with her head!" she ceaselessly commanded, while her masked executioners laughed, sharpening their tarnished blades.
But the true nightmare was the Rabbit. He was not merely a servant of time but its jailer. Beneath his white fur lurked a creature of impossible form, a being made of shadows and whispers that sought to consume her soul and trap her forever in this corrupted realm.
As she fled, Alice found an old, mold-covered door. Behind it, a pale light, almost a memory of dawn. The Twilight Cat appeared one last time, its smile broader than ever. "Leave if you can… but remember, little lost soul: one never truly escapes the Domain of Shadows."
Alice opened the door and… awoke in her bed, throat dry, heart pounding. Yet when she looked down, a pocket watch with motionless hands rested between her trembling fingers.
