On some [[outlander world]], [[Alain Monette]] was the [[cruel]] and [[merciless]] [[Ship's Captain|captain]] of the [[ship]] [[Ouragan]]. His crew eventually [[mutiny|mutinied]], [[flogging]] and [[keelhauling]] him before setting him adrift on a raft. Near death, Monette sword vengeance as his raft drifted into [[the Mists]] and ultimately crashed inside a [[sea]] [[cave]]. There, [[bat]]s drank his blood, and yet in turn he feasted upon them.
