Norwold is a wild, largely uninhabited, and long-disputed land on the [[outlander world]] of [[Mystara]]. It is mountainous, covered by [[forest|forests]], and divided by the Great Bay. The territory was nominally a [[kingdom]] belonging to the [[Alphatian Empire]]. But the effective influence of both [[king]] and [[emperor]] was not great. [[Barony|Baronies]] within the territory were granted to [[Noble of the Alphatian Empire|nobles]] willing to lead efforts to colonize the land in the name of the Alpthian Empire. [[Meredoth]] was one such noble.
