Sorina is a young girl who lives in the [[village]] of [[Orașnou]] with her father, [[Boris (Sorina's Father)|Boris]] and her mother. She worked as an assistant for the [[healer]] [[Glovia Falinescu]] at her [[hospice]].<ref>[[The Marionette]] p. 10, 24</ref> However, Glovia ultimately [[betrayed]] Sorina and [[kidnapped]] her. It was Glovia's intention to transplant the soul of [[Isabella Falinescu]], Glovia's dead daughter. Boris went after Glovia, but was stopped and knocked unconscious by the [[construct]] [[guardian]]s of [[Falinescu Manor]]. However, [[adventurer]]s intervened<ref>The Marionette p. 18, 24-25</ref> and slew Glovia.<ref>[[The Darklord]] p. 11</ref>
