He owned and operated [[the Nocturne]] [[inn]] with his wife<ref>ToDS p. 27, 33, 108-109</ref> and the [[winery]] connected to it with Ivar.<ref>ToDS p. 121</ref> Like Dirca, he was unable to have children, but for an entirely different reason.
