In [[643 BC]], an arranged marriage was imposed upon her and [[Burton Wescote]]. Her family had had somewhat tense relations with the Wescotes. On the night of the marriage, she was involved in the death of [[Michael Wescote]], Burton's brother, in what may or may not have been an accident. Shortly thereafter, she was chased into a [[bog]] by Burton's hounds. There she [[drowned]], but not before [[cursing]] Burton to an eternity of suffering.
