Knowledge of the Karrnathi was brought to [[the Demiplane of Dread]] with [[Clavius Kreel]], a Karrnathi [[necrologist]] and [[researcher]]. Some time prior to [[the Requiem]], Kreel presented a wagon of Karrnathi zombies, along with other unusual [[undead]], to [[Azalin Rex]] in [[Darkon]]. It was noted that he had augmented a number of them, seemingly with a number of [[salient ability|salient abilities]].
