Originally created to act as [[ambassador]]s and negotiators between warring [[elemental]]s of various types, omnimentals are powerful elemental beings of [[air]], [[earth]], [[fire]], and [[water]] simultaneously. Omnimentals have long since forsaken that purpose and wander the [[Elemental Planes]] pursuing their own agendas. When an omnimental is [[killed]], it releases all of its component parts and spawns [[air elemental]]s, [[earth elemental]]s, [[fire elemental]]s, and [[water elemental]]s<ref>[[Monster Manual III]] p. 118</ref> It is unknown to what [[dread elemental]] type the omnimental would turn into, should it be [[corrupted]] through the process of [[conjuration]] into the [[Demiplane of Dread]].
