			More recently, conflict has interrupted the long-standing truce between Kayebo Village and the lizardfolk tribes residing nearby. As previously mentioned, the dracotaurs accuse the humans of being responsible for the Mists and magical corruption of the land. Subsequently, a raid on Kayebo Village racked up many casualties for the village, and [[Onyeka Kayebo]], the new village leader, was [[poisoned]]. Kayebo Village is still reeling from the attack.<ref name="p. 8">p. 8</ref>

			Despite the dracotaur's accusations against all the humans, the defeat of Fotari<ref name="p. 12">[[p. 12</ref> and of Ufalakuntho.<ref name="p. 5">p. 5</ref> can the Bakumoro be saved.
