Unbeknownst to Grimswald, Jasper was a [[burglar]] whom used his knowledge of Grimswald's [[trap]]s to bypass all the traps sold to customers in town. However, Jasper fell victim to a magic trap set by a suspicious customer that nearly [[burnt]] him to death. After Jasper came home nearly dead, Grimswald set to work to try to save his dying brother. Grimswald constructed a [[metal]] body for Jasper, transforming him into a [[dread mechanical golem]].
