	The heartrose is a magical type of [[rose]] [[plant]] that, when bonded as a [[seed]] to a [[character]] by being planted with said [[character]]'s [[blood]], becomes attuned to that person's life force. The health of the heartrose reflects that of the character, and the colors of its [[flower]]s reflect the [[alignment]] of the character. A [[spell]] targeting a heartrose plant affects its bonded character it the spell can affect [[animal]]s or [[plant]]s, and the spell is transformed to its nearest applicable equivalent to the character's creature type. Area of effect spells and the like that affect but don't specifically target the heartrose only affect the character if the spell can normally affect plants. Unbonded heartrose plants become mundane roses.
