The Reaping Angel comes at night and reaps the farmer's fields and stacks the crops into orderly stacks. But woe be to the person whom interrupts the Angel's work, for it brings disaster upon the farmer. Such was the case for [[Vosshik]], a Hazlani [[folk hero]]. The Reaping Angel subsequently put a blight upon Vosshik's [[crop]]s and [[~~murdered~~]] his [[family]]. Vosshik gave chase for the Reaping Angel for many [[year]]s, slaying many monsters of the night in his wanders, but never finding the creature itself.
