Supposedly, he is a [[fiend]] conjured as tasked to destroy the [[wererat]]s of [[Pont-a-Museau]]. He is said to have been [[conjured]] by a [[curse]] that [[Claude Renier]] laid upon the [[city]] with his dying breath. Little Hollow Ivil is imagined to be a feral and ever hungry for the [[flesh]] of living creatures.<ref>[[Van Richten's Guide to the Mists (Book)]] p. 88,105</ref>

In reality, it was [[Salissar]] that first inspired the legends, during the time he is brought by [[the Mists]] to the [[sewers]] beneath Pont-a-Museau. Yet this legend has somehow been imprinted onto Salissar as one of his alternate personalities.<ref>VRGttM p. 105</ref>
