	Centuries ago on some [[outlander world]], Lytos was a mortal companion of the [[immortal]] being known as [[the One]]. Unfortunately, Lytos was mortally wounded. Desperate to avoid the loss of his friend, the One shared a part of his immortality with Lytos. However, the effort failed to grant Lytos true immortal life but instead turned him into a tortured and rotting husk begging for release. The One could not remove what he had given, and only Lytos' complete destruction by [[fire]] could put him to rest. Through tragic ~~misunderstannding the~~ [[heirs of Lytos\|Lytos' heirs]] branded [[the One]] a [[necromancer]] and began an eternal hunt for him<ref>[[Dark Tales and Disturbing Legends]] p. 40-41</ref>.
