The defense closest to completion was something which the squad dubbed the ''not-here'' field, designed to prevent [[psionic]] creatures (such as their [[illithid]] enemies) from even noticing Melesku'ta and whatever else was contained within the field. The squad was able to follow the research notes to finish the development, but they knew that one of their own would have to integrate with the psitech in order to control the ''not-here'' field.
