In the mythology of Raba, ''Muzawar Flatteur'' used to be a [[bard]] in the court of ''[[Mlik Clochard]]'', singing to praise his king's decisions, traveling across the north to announce his decrees. He kept the records of his lord's reign and monitored the finances of his pantheon. At times, he would forge records or greatly embellish the achievements of his lord and that lord's vassals, for such was the lot of the minstrel. Then came the Great Invasion and the fall of the northern pantheon.

With the fall of the order that had sheltered him, ''Muzawar Flatteur'' showed his true colours. For centuries he had submitted forgeries to the high [[Deity|gods]] when his lord demanded it, but he had kept a record of everything that was held back and had skimmed off the top, amassing a tidy fortune. Using these riches, he bought himself a place among the ''Loa ap Mache'', abandoning his tribe to secure a place of comfort for himself. In the current age, he acts as a scribe for [[King Azale]], whose temperament and subtlety suit him much better than ''Mlik Clochard'''s character ever did.

In the current age, ''Muzawar Flatteur'' is the patron of scribes, secretaries and bookkeepers, but also of confidence tricksters, thieves and scam-artists of all kinds. He is disdained by northern refugees as one who abandoned their cultural heritage, but the people of the coast tend to praise him for being flexible enough to see the way of the future.
