He hopes to open the gates to [[Hell]] for reasons of bringing [[order]] into the world. While at [[Oxford]], Nesmith came upon an old [[Persian]] tome called [[The Book of Malevaous]]. After reading this tome, Nesmith concluded that [[demon]]s were the bringers of chaos into the world. However, after finding an [[underground]] [[temple]] spoken of in the book, Nesmith found Acanthana's phylactery, and the fiend professed to share Nesmith's goals of eliminating [[chaos]].
