The Seduction of the Fey<ref name="Gazetteer V p. 53-54">[[Gazetteer V]] p. 53-54</ref> is the [[event]] in the supposed history of [[Tepest]] that brought low the old, rigidly hierarchical [[Tepestani]] society of the [[axelord]]s low. According to the [[tale]]s told by [[bard]]s, the [[fey]] [[tempted]] the [[cailleaigh]]- the wise women whom communed with the [[god]]s- with the mighty magic of [[the Weave]]. Those that succumbed to such [[temptation]] found themselves [[transformed]]] into hideous crones resembling [[witch]]es or [[hag]]s. With their [[corruption]] came their retreat into the surrounding [[forest]]s. Thus the fey managed to throw creation from [[Summer]] into [[Autumn]].
