Dr. Carrodine asserted to him that he would help find a way to complete the transformation and rid Rayne of his invisibility. Rayne later discovered that Dr. Carrodine only intended to undo the effects of the albinism cure all together. This caused them to come to blows. The resulting fight set the [[laboratory]] ablaze.
