The Last to Leave were a trio of [[beholder]]s that followed [[the Headless Horseman]] in attacking [[adventurer]]s during the [[Grand Conjunction]]. In the encounter, the Last to Leave took the place of [[the Last to Follow]], a group of [[medusa]] and [[maedar]] [[head]]s that usually follow the Headless Horseman. Although capable of flight, the Last to Leave were unusual for beholders in that their preferred locomotion was bouncing and rolling about unpredictably.<ref>[[From the Shadows]] p. 8</ref>
