The Ranging marks a period of [[conquest]] by the [[Gammel Vaasi]] of nearby lands, even a whole [[continent]], including [[Daamark]] and [[Tygaam]], all within the lifetime of [[Eternal King Zaanji Højplads]] but ends with his demise and [[the Breaking]], as his empire begins to dissolve.<ref>[[Gaz II]] p. 21</ref>
