	The [[Soulstone]] was a dark [[artifact]] of dread power formerly wielded by [[Baron Caidin]], whom first learned about it from his [[darkling]] [[prisoner]], [[Brinn]]. Using it, Caidin planned to stage a [[rebellion]] against [[Azalin Rex]]. With help from [[Lord Inquisitor Sirraun]], Caidin set up a phony [[inquisition]] to weed out "[[conspirator]]s" in order to claim lives for the Soulstone. The [[corpse]]s of the persons [[killed]] by the stone became [[zombie]]s to build [[Caidin's Tower of Doom]], from which Caidin brought to life with the [[soul]]s captured by the Soulstone. After Caidin died, the Soulstone was recovered from the [[ruin]]s of his bell tower by [[Steffan]].
