Maria Paldo was the wife of Bevel Boritsi and attempted to poison him to death. However, Bevel's aunt intervened, and Maria faced a suitable end. The whole matter did make Bevel more paranoid of all the nobles around him and keeps him away from the other noble women he meets.[1]
