King Drosselbart was the King of Fairhafen and the father of Princess Rosenbriar. His first wife's death left him in a deep state of grief, and it was easy for a woman named Avaerein to pray upon his weakened emotional state and make him fall in lover with her. After they were wed, she murdered him with some kind of disease affliction.[1]
