Phantoms are not creatures exactly, but rather three dimensional (albeit incorporeal) reflections of the past that play over and over again. In specific, they can form when the living experience particularly horrific or painful deaths. Besides frightening those nearby, phantoms are harmless, but they can only be removed by a remove curse spell cast by a priest of sufficient level.[1]
Phantoms can be encountered in Avonleigh.[2]
Note that the phantom was never updated to 3rd Edition. Hence, any creature types below are speculative.
