According to Hazlani false history, the Years of Tattered Banners was a 53 year period of anarchy that rocked Hazlan from 661 BC to 714 BC. Rival noble families fought each other tool and nail to declare their favored sons or daughters the right heir to the dead Yome of the Weeping Eyes. It supposedly ended with the coming of Hazlik.[1]
