The Heirs of the Pipers is a Neutral Good qabal on Gothic Earth (in specific, Transylvania. They based their existence of one version of the the Legend of the Pied Piper, where the Pied Piper led the children not into the sea but east from Hamelin into Brasov in Transylvania. There, he gifted the children with musical instruments and special abilities in return for spending their existences spreading good to counteract their parents' transgressions. In the absence brought about by the Pied Piper of Hamelin being taken away by the Mists, the Heirs have tried to continue what they see as his work undoing evil and corruption in Transylvania. Most members say they are descendants of the Piper's children mentioned above, although the Heirs have recently allowed heirs in spirit to join.[1]
