[[Tom]] is a [[Flesh Golem]], created by [[Emil Bollenbach]], at the request of [[Strahd von Zarovich]]. He was created as a trap for [[Lyssa von Zarovich]], and his blood contains a poison that causes vampires who drink of it to fall into a deep slumber, and only slowly regain the ability to waken for more than a few hours each day. He is a near-perfect duplicate of [[Thomas Sergeiovich Zhavov]], except for a recent wound on the real Thomas's arm that occurred after [[Tom]]'s construction. After Lyssa drank of Tom's blood, he began to rapidly decompose. It is not known if this destroyed him completely, or if he lived on in decomposed form, or eventually was repaired or regenerated to his original state. | |||
