Michael Wescote was born in Mordent in the first half of the prior century. His brother was Burton Wescote. The Wescotes resided in Wescote Manor, northeast of Mordentshire, a little east of Mill Road. In 643 BC, Michael was impaled by a knife and expired. Burton's bride-to-be was involved in the death.
