Located in the Iron Hills[1], the lair of the Whispering Beast is (or was) a garden sanctuary that served the home for that fell creature plus its "wards", Oathbreakers driven mad by his whispers. Protected by a massive hedge maze perhaps hostile to those sound of mind, the lair was nonetheless friendly the Whispering Beasts wards.[2]
In addition to functioning as a residence for the Whispering Beast, the lair served as a base of operations for the White Rose and her Thorns. There they poured large bags of black and red roses into sanctified cauldrons to bring about the metaphysical conditions necessary to bring Soth to be judged.[3]
