Vlad Rastolnikov was a baker in the Village of Barovia. Kolya Kalinov was his apprentice.^[1] When the cottage of Burgomaster Kartov was set ablaze and the Kartova Family decimated, Vladimir attempted to take in Alexi Petrovich as one of his children, but bowed to the pressure of his wife.^[2]
Given how long ago he lived, Vlad may be presumed to be deceased.
