Manannan mac Lir is part of the Tepestani Pantheon. Like the rest of the pantheon, worship of this deity is dwindling in the presence of the Tepestani Inquisition.[1] Manannan mac Lir is a deity of fishers and the sea.[2] He is the brother of Brigantia, and the both of them are the closest friends Belenus has. Manannan mac Lir's counterpart in the trio of dark gods consisting of Lugh, Daghda, and Diancecht is the latter.[3]
Manannan mac Lir has a a temple in Briggdarrow.[1][2] He was thought to ward away the Avanc. There may be some truth to this belief, as the Avanc began plaguing the people of Briggdarrow after their lapse in faith to the sea god.[2]
Manannan mac Lir is not mentioned among the deities belonging to the Forfarian Pantheon.[4]
