In the background of the Forgotten Realms setting adventure module Castle Spulzeer (which itself is a lead in to the Ravenloft crossover module The Forgotten Terror), Gentar was a djinni noble imprisoned in a lamp by the necromancer Kartak Spulzeer. He was later freed by Chardath Spulzeer (whom would later become darklord of Aggarath), Kartad's distant descendant. For freeing Gentar, the djinni granted Chondath half of Kartak's spellcasting power. So emboldened, Charndath eventually found himself in a confrontation with both Kartak and more unexpectedly, his sister risen from the grave as a ghost.[1]
