Amelia, also known as The Vampiress, is one of the members of Carnival. Her bat-like wings enable full flight. Although she pretends to be a malevolent vampire, she is otherwise a normal (benevolent and shy, even) woman.
Background
Amelia was once from the City of l'Morai. After she tried to run away from her parents, she was punished through transformation into one of the freaks of Carnival l'Morai, where she was cast out. She bore two disfigured, useless wings. After Hermos and the rest of performers overthrew the Puppetmaster and fled l'Morai, Amelia escaped with them. After the new Carnival was formed under the leadership of Isolde, Amelia's wings grew to 20 ft long and were now functional thanks to the Twisting.
