Now only the ruins of a burnt out husk, the Riverbend plantation was the former home of Dr. Alistair Weldon and his family. However, it was burnt by slaves during Sherman's March. Dr. Weldon disappeared, taken to a copy of the plantation in the Mists called Riverbend]. It was formerly haunted by the ghost of Fanny Weldon until she was buried by Daniel Greensmith in 1882[1]
