The Jolly Roger is an undead, spectral (though still corporeal) remnant of a pirate officer or ship's captain.[1][2] As such, they can be seen leading the walking dead, usually sea zombies[1] or normal zombies[2], whenever encountered. Other than their ability to command, they are characterized by their skeletal, smiling visage and disturbing laughter.[1][2]
