The Phantom Axe of Gildabarren was a Ghost that haunted Darkon and was laid to rest by Dr. van Richten and company. Gildabarren was a Darkonian dwarf whose spirit possessed his axe after a traumatic death from drowning. Having been exileed from his home community, the haunted Axe returned there and begin a string of murders. Luckily, van Richten and company were able to divine the Axe's nature with the help of a medium.[1]
