That and his proclivity for puns alienated those unable to stand his humor or abuse. Rumors spoke of his uncertain ancestry, which might have included parentage from Darkon, Sri Raji, the Vistani, or even fiends. Another rumor tells he was born to a woman held in an insane asylum.
