In 398 BC, Strahd confronted Lord Leo Dilisnya here, but fell into Leo's trap. Leo almost managed to defeat Strahd, if it were not for the intervention of the monks of this monastery. Today it stands abandoned, though rumored to be filled with unimaginable treasures guarded by correspondingly unimaginable undead guardians. The Monastery is on Mount Baratak[1]
