Belong to the Kaldresh Tasque, the Moslavarics are a Vistani family of tinkers and craftspeople. Keldro is their Vistani Captain, though he often lets Advan do the talking. Tayrizha is the raunie. Lela, a young Moslavaric woman, was engaged to marry Donani of the Bogarav family, but recently she disappeared. Hanzi, a mortu and Vistani outcast, had been following the tribe trying to woo her. He too has not been seen, leading the Moslavarics to think they ran off together. Most of the Moslavarics have seen bringing her back as hopeless, the sole exception being Tayrizha.[1]
Unfortunately, the truth is much worse than the Moslavarics expect. Lela was enthralled by a vampire and turned into a vampire spawn.[2] She planned to murder Hanzi as part of a ritual to keep her appearance as a mortal.[3]
