In Curse of Strahd, Gustav Herrenghast was a Lawful Evil human cleric that attempted to take the Icon of Ravenloft from Castle Ravenloft. He was killed by the radiant damage Evil creatures take when touching the Icon. His corpse still lies nearby.[1]
