Reshef is a phoenix that once championed righteousness. However, witnessing the sins of humanity caused him to grow hateful of humanity, and his flames took many innocent lives before he became a darklord. Today Reshef lingers in a marvelous and jeweled palace, where he tests the righteousness of visitors against temptation. Those found wanting are burned to death, whereas those he judges as morally pure may leave alive with the prize of one of his apples from his glorious orchard.[1]
