The Voidmind Creature template[1] is an acquired template that can be applied to any living creature of Tiny to Huge size other than elementals, oozes, or vermin. Creature Size and Type do not change, although alignment changes to match the voidmind creature's illithid masters, which is normally Lawful Evil. A voidmind creature has a CR of 1 higher than the base creature.
As a voidmind creature results from the application of a template to one of a number of different possible types of creatures without changing its type, the creature cannot be conclusively filed by type are thus is instead filed under Cross-type Template.)
