Maleffluent is an magical, intelligent, and evil axe that Chardath Spulzeer found in the cellars of Castle Spulzeer. Although he claimed it as his own, it all but dominated him for a time.[1] When Chardath became the demilord of Aggarath, it was unable to influence him. Since then, it has sought a way of escaping. Upon escaping, the axe will not thank its rescuers. In fact, it will most likely try to dominate one.[2]
