Theresa A. O'Neill is an investigator of the occult and a member of the Circle. She is tracking the supernatural evil that is causing the Jack the Ripper killings in Boston. She is the sister of Detective David O'Neill, who knows of her proclivities for the supernatural but disbelieves they exist. They live together in his home in Back Bay.^[1]
