Alec's harpies are another race of unnaturally created abominations made by Alec Lawrence and the Brotherhood of Mortis. Unlike real harpies (which Alec doesn't know exist), Alec's harpies can only attack with a bite, and their singing causes fear instead of the usual enthrallment. The harpy is created from the body of a human (preserved via an embalm spell) and a bat (made large enough via the enlarge spell), injected with a regenerative virus, and then made animate with electrical stimulation.[1]
Inspiration
The Brotherhood of Mortis and related entities were inspired by the Playstation 1 Video Game Nightmare Creatures by Activision/Kalisto.[2]
