In the Tales of Ravenloft short story Objets d'Art, Stezen d'Polarno takes several guests on a tour through his private art gallery. In truth, none of them are interested in works of art. Instead, they all truly want his alleged elixir of immortality. In reality, the tour is merely a trap to make the guests "immortal" by trapping or transforming them into various pieces of art.
